I say whatever makes them happy. They are not hurting me in any way, so, why should I care?

I am an atheist so Have no problem with homosexuality, but I used to when i was younger because I was raised prejudiced it took me many years and a continuous conscious effort to erase those prejudices. I noticed someone earlier quoted leviticus 20:13 but why do homosexuals get condemed by the church more than say adulters? leviticus 20:10 or teenagers who swear at their parents? leviticus 20:9 it says all of these people should be put to death. I understand that jesus is supposed to forgive sin so we don't need to execute people for sin but why do the christians hold this particular sin to a different standard than others which have the same penalty in leviticus?

I have no feelings one way or another about homosexuality. I am a Christian who believes what God said about loving each other as we love ourselves. I have never seen where it says Except for mo's and dykes. I have gay friends. I have a daughter who questioned her sexuality at one time. I agonized with her. I have to tell you though, honestly, I breathed a sigh of relief when she met the gentleman that she is with now. The reason wasn't because I thought is was sinful, it was because we live in a rural area and I hear what other people say and do about things they don't understand. I don't know any gay people who are completely certain they understand why they are different from straight people. I have never met anyone who made the "choice" to be gay. I hope I have answered your question sufficiently. Just know there are more people like me who don't take issue with gay lifestyles. I figure it is not for me to judge. That is what God is for, by the way, most of the gay people I know are better Christians than the Bible thumpers that I sit next to in Church on Sundays. Go figure that one. Nana

I condemn the SIN, not the SINNER. Homosexuality is a SIN, but that doesn't mean I am to shun the homosexual or judge accordingly. If God can forgive and extend His hand of love, I can do no less. To do so makes me a hypocrite. I respect other people's point of view, but I don't necessarily conform to such. If they are radically different from my own, I can only hope to share knowledge and fellowship with them and hope they would do the same for me.

I am a Christian. I do not condemn anyone. I do think that homosexuality is not part of God's design. I think that there is evidence to support that being gay may be genetic---there is also evidence to support that it is influenced by nurture as well. While homosexual orientation MAY not be a choice----the way we live our lives most certainly IS a choice. Just as heterosexuals have choices to remain chaste, so do homosexuals---we are not 'animals' without rational thought.
I respect diverse points of view! I just may not agree with them.

We live in a fallen world filled with sin and people who would make excuses for anything that they want to do. They are called idolaters. These same people deny the reality of the situation and would lie to those struggling with certain sins so as to make themselves feel better about their lifestyle. Homosexuality is a struggle with same sex attraction which is obviously wrong. It is a struggle, nevertheless, and it should be addressed in a loving and understanding manner. The Bible clearly states that we are of a fallen nature and that people struggle with different sins, but there is a way out. Jesus not only came to give us forgiveness of sins, but also to enable us to live in victory. Aside from God, there is no true victory over sin, only an illusion of accomplishment. For some it is homosexuality, for others it is greed, heterosexual lust, hate, etc. Homosexuals are precious people who need to be understood and helped, not simply judged and cast aside. I love gays. Yes, I do. I work with a couple of gays and they are some of the best acquaintances that I've ever had. I also pray for them and share my faith.

Two questions.
1== I feel sorry for them. I know, probably, 10 of them.
2== Nice people, deluded, I feel, and believe, that it is not normal.
As a Christian I believe in THE GOD. > Yes I respect divers opinions on many things - but they are only peoples OPINIONS.
I do not condemn others for their convictions. After all, they are THEIR CONVICTIONS.

How do I feel about homosexuality? Surely its up to the persons involved.Life on this earth is very short, so whatever makes a person happy, so-be-it.Its not for others to decide how people live, but only for those involved, its their business not mine.whatever a persons sexuality they are still human beings that deserve the same respect as you or I would want. Some couples of same sex relationships stay together for life, let them enjoy it,it is theirs not ours!
I was bought up in a very religious household,my views are my own,NOT what religion preaches. So yes,I do respect a diverse point of view!!

All persons deserve respect ...this is just common decency.
Love the sinner hate the sin...cannot be fairly applied in this instance because what Christians refer to as the sin of homosexuality cannot be separated from the person it's like calling having blue eyes a sin and it's a particularly devious way of getting round a hatred of gay people without admitting to it...
Whatever ridiculous biblical reason you might like to give as an excuse for judging homosexuals sinners they are worthless as homosexuality like any sexuality is not a choice it is caused by hormonal conditions in the womb, combined with among other things a genetic component and to a lesser extent family & societal influences...none of us can choose these things...
Time to admit you hate gay people (unchristian) or try really hard to show some tolerance.
Humans tend to use sexual acts as a way to communicate their emotions and love for each other and in this gay people are no different to anyone else, we don't reduce peoples sexuality down to sex acts because that would make Str8's merely penile-vaginal sexers...some people may find that disgusting,
Disgust with bodily functions is common among phobic people...seek treatment if you feel disgust at the thought of two people making love differently to the way you prefer to do it.

I don't worry about it. What 2 consenting adults do in their own home doesn't affect me in any way.
I try to respect all views. Mostly, I respect the right everyone has to their views. I look forward to differences... I usually learn things from the differences. Those who tend to stay around only those who agree with them on everything (or, at least, the more important things to them) appear to not learn anything about other people and instead have a very narrow view of those outside their "special circle"

Someone asked "Is homosexuality natural?"
This was my answer.....
Natural, that which is harmonious by design.
"Nature" is the "harmonious" union of all living things.
Unnatural is that which is opposite of nature.
Heterosexuality between male and female exists "naturally" within all procreating species; thus "Male and Female" are "naturally" physically compatible for intercourse AND "natural" procreation that is self-realizing and doesn't require "artificial" means. This consistency says that "procreation" between the male and female is "natural".
If heterosexuality is natural, then homosexuality is therefore the opposite.
Homosexuality is not natural but spiritual. It is the over stimulation of human erotic sensuality by demonic spirits who possess the souls of those under demonic control; where the demon "literally" stimulates and manipulates the sex drive of the individual (causing sexual arousal) towards individuals of the same sex whose sexuality are also under demonic control (i.e., another homosexual).
Notice how homosexuals only have sexual relations with homosexuals. This says that their sexual passions are manipulated. How is it that "homosexuals" are "born" this way when it is not a contagious or genetic disease?
Homosexuals are not "born" they are "made".
