I've been a bar manager for a number of years & have always maintained that alcohol is the world's greatest truth serum. So, in answer to your question, you're damn right I would!!!

As the romans would say "in vino veritas" - in wine lies truth. The thing with alcohol is that you DO get the truth out of people when they're genuinely drunk. People say exactly what they mean and it's honest. The problem is that it's a very poorly considered version of the truth! The classic problem with alcohol all-round is that people don't think about what they say or do, hence all the fights, arguments, accidents and so-on that come as a result of alcohol, and the same applies to the ill-considered version of the truth - when drunk, people do tend to say exactly what they're thinking, and although this is a version of the truth, it may be dramatically different to what they would say if they were sober and thought the question through properly.

Whats the surety, the person is going to crack after getting drunk? I think if the person really wants his secret to be shared with you, only then he lets it out after getting drunk :)
So why do you wait for, get him drunk and get the secrets, since he too wants you to know that.

no, but I did suspect an ex of cheating and got him drunk so he fell asleep and I went through his mobile phone, he had beencheating and I caught him red handed. I would never do that unless I was already almost 100% sure I was right.

I wouldn't get someone drunk to find something out but if I was drinkin with someone and they got drunk... I would ask them something I had been wanting to know. But I wouldn't make them spill their guts or anything.

En Vino Veritas. I'd do it. I'd just bear in mind that some peope don't always tell the truth, just what they wish was the truth at the time. If they're going to get that pissed that someone can get information from them then they deserve it.

No, you only get someone deliberately drunk to make them laugh, pee in their pants, barf, pass out, or all of the above.

what lie detector said. That works a treat. In vino veritas only works if they can remember their secrets.

Only a person with no morals and/or a weak character would do such a thing
