great question - I'm a Christian, but I think people need to really read the Bible to convert. Most people don't take the time to read the Bible and instead listen to other people.
I'd say laziness is a key prohibitor of being a convert.

I don't think it's a matter of non-Christians thinking that Christ doesn't love them. It's that they don't believe in God or Christ. Some turn offs for me have always been the way many Christians act superior. Also, I have a problem with organized religion in general because it causes a lot of stubbornness and conflict in the world.

I am not a Christian.
The biggest turn off, paradoxically, is the relentless, even pathological need of so many Christians to witness to others, based on the dangerous certainty that this one religion is true and the others false.
I am not a non-Christian because I doubt that Christ loves me. (Although many of us choose not to be Christians because we have no doubt that many evangelical Christians do *not* love us.) I am sure that the Divine, in Its infinite manifestations, includes the Christ of unconditional love and forgiveness. But my own spiritual path teaches me that there are many roads to the Most Sacred, all equally true, of which Christianity is one. My own path is another.
So, in conclusion, Christian evangelists: don't try so hard. And lose the endless condemnation of those who believe differently from you.
Hope this is helpful to you.

There is nothing that could convert me, in order for me to join a religion it would have to be able to prove everything, down to the smallest detail. Christianity turns me off because it is based on nonsense, and they won't stop trying to convert, or as I like to say, brainwash people. and nothing would convince me that an imaginary person loves me.

I was a long time christian until I thouroughly read the bible. After reading and studying the bible it became very obvious to me that it is the greatest con ever played upon mankind. The bible is about control, nothing more, nothing less. As far as what it would take to convert me....probably nothing short of god appear in the sky for all to see and announcing himself. Which, if you think about, why hasn't he already done. What better way to save all souls. Probably because he doesn't exist......

Why do you have to want to convert people in the first place? A sense of religious superiority? Mine is better than yours? People have already made their choice. Do you truly want to see that all religions other than Christianity wiped out from the world? You say Christ loves you. Well, some say their Muhammed truly loves them and maybe even more than Christ loves you and others say their Buddha loves them too. Got it?

End times prophecy speaks of the people who will have until the very end to repent of their ways and embrace Jesus, but even then they'd sooner have the mountains crush them to death.
All I could see as an athiest were the turnoffs of Christianity.
*Good Deeds.
*No heavy partying (getting drunk etc.)
*No adultery, orgies or wild sex outside of marriage.
*Living for someone else (Jesus/God).
*Living self-lessly vs. selfishly.
*Attending Church (not required).
*Being nice to people all the time.
*Not being able to do what you want when you want.
*LONG LIST OF POSSIBLE RESTRICTIONS.
In the end, I was actually freed from a lot of the stuff I use to think I enjoyed doing and needed in my life to mean something. All that stuff just momentarily makes you feel good, but then the high wears off and the emptiness of this life returns hungrier then before. Time to feed the hunger a new rush from what life has to offer before that too wears off and doesn't work anymore.
For many people, they will never allow God to rule in their lives.

Given the fact I was a practicing Christian for over thirty years and became an atheist as the result of studying the issue, I seriously doubt anything you or anyone can say would change my viewpoint.
Atheism, the only logical choice.
No, atheism doesn't love anyone.

I don't believe god exists and even if I did, I would never join any religion that's based on fear. To answer your question, nothing. There's nothing you could do to convince me to become a Christian. (I'd pretend for a billion dollars)

I'm not really sure what you could say to convert me.
You better think up some "magic words" quickly, though, because Jews and Muslims are also thinking up their respective "magic words," and the religion that gets to me first wins my soul.
Ready . . . GO!
