Be bold & ask him to marry you!

It seems like you're at a crossroads in your relationship. You need to sit down and have a serious discussion about whether there is a long-term future to your relationship and if it involves marriage. I assume that is where you were heading with this, please forgive me if I'm wrong.

It's sounds like your at the place where you are looking for some sort of commitment from him. If that's correct, then it's time to put all the cards on the table. The reason I say that is because he may never have any intention of getting any more serious in the relationship than he is right now. Therefore, if you're looking for something more from him then it's time to start having a dialog about the future and where and how much you fit into it.

You already have 3 years invested in this relationship. It now time to determine what the future holds for the both of you in this relationship.

Best of luck :)

-Danny

ohh thats a good idea, make a guy do something he really doesn't want to do. Then wonder why when your 3 years into yrou marriege why he rather stay at work than come home to you.

we are not cattle people. If your boyfriend wanted to be serious then he would be. If it's that your ready and he is not then maybe you guys aent' right for eachother.

If you've been with him for 3 years and have to ask this question, then you're spinning your proverbial wheels. Life is too short. Time is valuable. Either accept your relationship with him as it is or cut him loose and open yourself up to the possibility of someone else who wants to be serious about the future. You deserve happiness and fulfillment.

Sounds like a healthy relationship to me .. if you have to Brainwash him to get serious ..

Why would you want to get serious with somebody if they don't want to ... never understood pushing "love" or trying too hard in a relationship .. if both people aren't on the same page about what they each want in the future .. shoot move on and find somebody else that will .... !

If he is not serious after 3 years, I would really think about if this was the right man for you. I hope you get the answers you are looking for.

You can't but you can force the issue.

If it is marriage you are talking about ... ask him !

I dated a girl for about three years once.

One day she said in fustration....."are you ever gonna ask me to marry you ?" ..... I realised with astonishment that the answer was no and that was why I hadn't already asked the question.

But be prepared...there was no where for the relationship to go after that and it ended the same day.

If you've been with him 3 years and he isn't serious yet, dump him! You are wasting your time and probabley missing out on Mr. Right. Tell him to **** or get off the pot!

There's no way to brainwash him. You're just going to have to do it the old fashioned way and talk to him. Let him know how you feel and ask him if he thinks this is going to get serious and when.

That is a creepy question. if he isn't serious enough about you to forsee a future, then dump him and find a man who is!!!! I think you should read that book -he's just not that into you- I think it will make you feel better, seriously. It is only 150 pages.
