My grandpo died 10 yrs ago from lung cancer caused by asbestos, my grandma, his wife, 3 yrs ago from lung cancer caused by smoking most likely, my auntie, their daughter, 10 mos ago from pancreatic cancer and my girlfriends grandma 2 mos from pancreatic cancer. My auntie had breast cancer about 4 yrs ago but it went into remission and came back as pancreatic. My uncle 2 yrs ago from colon cancer that spread to his brain. My friend and old boss died from lung cancer 3 mos ago and he never smoked or drank more than 3 beers at a time and was pretty much healthier than someone half is age. cancer is an unrelenting, non biased killer, sometimes it goes and stays gone and other times it comes back stronger. Some of them went through chemo and radiation, some of them stopped it prematurely and some them chose not to go through with at all. My auntie and my friend did chemo, radiation and tried to manage it with diet (lots of dark greens and NO sugars).

yes, one of my older sisters. she had a hysterectomy first but the cancer had spread. it was all over in her body, yet she never complained of pain. she took no chemo or radiation. it wouldn't have done jany good. she was placed in a hospice center and did not live very much longer afterwards. she continued to do for herself as much as possible up to the end. at the end she wasn't able to respond to any stimulation. i love her very much and miss he. i admired her constitution. she was only 56.

Yes my Grandmother, Grandfather and my cousin's husband. Its not a fun way to go but usually its easier to cope because you are happy that they aren't suffering anymore.
