Yes! They are classic Italian rides. Not on the cutting edge of current technology, but have that little something extra like most Italian bikes.

An institution is the lengthened shadow of one person and on this basis alone I rate cinelli as one of the finest bikes currently made.
Antonio Columbo is the president of cinelli .under the umbralla of "the gruppo" he is a true lover of the bicycle and shows his support for it even having bicycle related art shows at his gallery in milan--

I think the nicest cinellis are the ones made n the 50's-70's and those are the ones that will most likly be the best investment if you are looking for an investment.
I love the efficency and the style that both the cinellis I own exude but to answer the questions you ask directly I think they are good, however I may suggest that before you decide to buy any bike you ride as many of the possible canidates as possible becuase only you can know what typ of bike is right for you and anyone elses advice is just their opinion the only way tell what you think about a bike is to ride it..good luck

Cinelli Bikes Any Good

good for what? and which one? the carbon and aluminum ones are just ok. you would do better, if you love all things italian, with a bianchi, a pinarello or a colnago, all of which make better bikes for the money. however, if you are talking steel, perhaps cinelli is good, in a classic kinda way. they still make a lugged frame, with chromed lugs which is hot, not even bianchi still makes a lugged frame. all in all thou, when its comes to overall quality, cinellis are and never were near the top, ask any pro frame builder. they are race tools...

Never had experience with them, but it is a classic brand, so I assume the frames are nice.

I am, though, a big fan of their bike components though (especially the one piece handle bar/stem).

Cheers!
