Do they serve any purpose? To me they are a waste of time and money and fall in the basin when I wash my hands.

Not necessarily banned, but it is about time people who wear them realised that they are wearing something that was a fashion accessory 150 years ago when it was invented. They serve no useful purpose, and people who wear them because they think they are smart are just sheep following the flock. How much richer would Richard Branson be if he had worn a tie?
Stupid things, Tie wearers - toughen up, get rid of them. I refuse to wear one at work, and I still do my job just as well, better in fact because I feel more comfortable. Next item to go - Suits?

maximum activities have an element of threat, and the better the point of opposition, the better the point of threat. If we banned each game that brought about injury/dying, what could we be left with? Ping pong? however i could guess real funds that there are ping pong injuries, too. purely some days lower back, a youthful guy died in a swimming opposition; final week, a youthful surfer grow to be killed by way of a shark. for some years, soccer gamers have been crippled, and now all of us comprehend they often go through concepts injury from taking part in, too. enable's attitude this from the different side, too. If horse racing is banned, what do you assume will ensue to the horses? It is basically no longer surprisingly.

I would miss my ties! For me, they are a way to express my style without departing too far from the 'business look.' I can wear an 'M&M' tie with a dress shirt, and still be considered respectable.

Still, if the business look were to evolve some other means by which I can show some style, I'd be happy to lose the noose.

Ok, let Spooky put it to you like this. The necktie is a very phallic symbol. And I find a man in a tie hot. I want to run up to him and start pulling on that tie to make him follow my orders.

:+)

No! I like ties. They shouldn't be banned. I'd still wear one. Why should they be banned? They don't do anything bad (unless someone induces it).

OH HELL, NO!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I think suits and ties should be required in more places.

I hate the casualization of society that has been happening.

So stop wearing one, drop out, focus your skills and abilities on entrepreneurship. I did. You can too.
