My friend's mother, who is 68 years old, needs a health insurance, even though she has a medicare. Could you recommend the insurance company(or plan) with a good coverage in the state of Michigan? Thanks.

Here's a site you can compare which insurance company and coverages best suit your needs in Michigan.
Boy the costs of health insurance are skyrocketing and employers are passing on the costs to their workers.

My parents (WA) are both very satisfied with their Aetna insurance and medicaid. I think prescription medication is only $10 copay.

I actually know of a company that will shop all the major companies and find your mother the best deal. My company just had them re-do our company health insurance benefits and the savings and benefits difference was huge (all for the better.) The gentleman that worked with us was Tim Henk. The company is Prime Insurance Service and they're based in Grand Rapids, but work all over MI. Here is their contact info: 616.940.8118 or toll-free 800.328.6233. Give Tim a call (he's been working quite a bit with Medicare supplements.) Tell him Kelly from Principle Mortgage suggested you call...he'll take really good care of you :)

She is probably seeking a medicare supplement. Lots of big name companies do this. Aflak (check my spelling) advertises a lot, but plenty of major carriers in this game, one on every street corner.
