You came to the right place!! I used to tutor boys for GED. All of the essay questions are different, but they all have the same format you can follow. Read the question carefully. Then make sure you answer every part of it. Most of them ask a question and then want a solution to what the problem is in your own words. That does not mean gansta talk. They want correct spelling, well put together sentences and good grammar. The GED score that you make can make you eligible for grants and scholarships for college. That means you don't pay to go to college!!! Make an outline on scrap paper of the question and then the points that you want to make about the answer. Example: What is the biggest problem in the world today and what would you do to fix it?
1 Biggest Problem is......
2 How this got to be the problem.
3 Solution to the problem could be....
a. first solution is to
b second solution is....
They want so many pages or words for the question. Ours is no less than 3 paragraphs, which is the outline above. The key is to BE SPECIFIC and detailed in your answer.
I wish you the very best of luck and hope this has helped you. Nana

There are different essay questions for each person, just write the way you talk and bullcrap your way through it. You don't have to use big words or anything, they just want to know that you can write and comprehend things.
Note: Most people do not realize that having your GED is better than a high-school diploma and they should not be so cruel. You work harder to get your GED than you do for your high-school diploma. All you pretty much have to do to get your diploma is show up at school.

Is that an oxymoron? In order to pass your G.E.D. you need to know how to write an essay.

You can probably find more info online- every essay needs to have
Opening Statement (Hypothesis)
Body ( point 1)
point 2
point 3
Closing statement
Or something along those lines.
Don't plagerize! They have programs that can scan known works and the internet for phrases that match. Good luck.

Guess you shouldn't have dropped out in the first place. It sounds like you need a few more months of studying.
