seeing as tho i'm sober now of my own volition, should I ask my local 12 step group for my bloody money back?

Chalk it up to a learning experience.

Hope you never had to pay for rehab out of pocket like I did.

By now the treasurer of your local meeting has probably used that money to finance a relapse anyway.

Of course YOU are the reason that you are sober!!!! They don't MAKE you sober.

If you used any of their services, then no, don't as for the money back.

If you feel the help and information they provided was no help at all than I don't see why not. Plus it dosn't hurt to ask! Whats the worst they can say? No?

No. They will just try and convince you that you still need help. Write it off as a lesson learned.
