it's the new era of dating truths no one really talked about until now.
it's female empowerment over men. come on! it wasn't just the nudity or the sex itself. it was a story about 4 best friends who were single and struggling to find love and survival in these times.

It was s show about sucessful who had everything in life except that special someone. The stories on there were probably derived form true stories, and form what my female friends told me at the time, the fasion was spectatular.
You had 4 different set of women who were different and thus you had a recipe for many many many different encounters with men and the results from it. By the last episode thouh, you see that all the women are happy as they found their true loves. It was the journey that made the show though

seeing their boobs. I personally thought the show was retarded. Honestly, who wants to see a show about a bunch of OLD women and their sex lives? Not me! I'll stick to watching Six Feet Under (may that show rest in peace!). Plus, Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a man. I think the only reason women watched the show was for the "fashion", if that's what you want to call it. Mleh...you shouldn't steal fashion from a show or from celebrities. It defeats the purpose of being your own person. You should have your own unique style instead of stealing it from famous people. Get a life and quit copying the celebs! Okay, I'm done ranting.

The clothes. It has to be the clothes. I love fashion and every week I had so many new ideas. Oh, I also thought by watching the show that maybe an unmarried life after 30 could be fabulous rather than completely tragic.

So many people can relate to it - and to the camaraderie among the women, and I mean - New York City, with all its glamor and glitz - there's a bad girl (Samantha), a shy girl (Charlotte), an intellectual (Miranda), and a charismatic person (Carrie) in all of us :) - and hello, the SEX they had - the show was unabashing and so frank and honest - it's what revolutionized the way we think of sex...

i think alot of people could identify with at least one of the characters on the show. It dealt with alot of real drama. unless you are a guy, then it would be about the sex

to me its the fact that many teens who watched it felt like they were getting away with something and they thought that they could relate to it somehow, alot of the viewers were teens. as for the older viewers it helped them to see what they in turn wanted in their lives.
