What would be the best way to present a promise ring, or should I go with something else. I've never been in a relationship for this long before so I don't know what the best thing to do would be. Oh, btw, I'm just turning fifteen so anything over $50 is out of the question.

A promise ring is cute. Buy a simple silver band and have something engraved inside the band. ("I Promise" or your names and date). Or try a celtic love knot ring. Or maybe some black hills gold.

That's sweet. And not expensive. Don't go to a fancy jewelry store. They'll screw you over. Go to a department store like JCPenney's or Kohl's or Herberger's or someplace that has jewelry sales A LOT.

I think that it's really sweet that you've even thought about giving the girl that you're with a promise ring. Kudos for you young man!
But honestly, you're age is not working with you in a situation like this. You are going to change, she is going to change. You two might end up going to different colleges. ( And trust me, being single in college is the way to go bro )
Giving a girl a promise ring at this age will give her the impression that you two are going to be together for the next 50 years and I can tell you......9 and 1/2 times out of 10....Not gonna happen love.
As a young woman of 26, my advice to you is just enjoy your young relationship. Keep getting to know each other and learn how to communicate with each other.
But if you feel that you must give her something...Get her a teddy bear or flowers or a poster of her favorite actor. Get her a charm bracelet or a pair of "stunner" sun glasses or just a card that's blank and pour your heart out to her ( girls loooooooove that stuff )
I sure do hope you two are'nt sexully active. I know neither one of you want to be parents right now.
Best of luck.

You're too young for a promise ring. Just have a good time and live life, you only get one chance at it. At the age of 15, your relationship couldn't be that long. You'll have a lot longer ones later on.

I think giving someone a "promise ring" at 15 should be out of the question.

To propose a promise ring to some body will be better done in private where there is no distractions or nosy people looking. It also shares you the embarassment of having everybody looking at you.

Well...
just remember that 3 years is a long time...

The best way to present a promace ring, would probably be at a dinner or something, idk, if my boyfriend gave it to me in a public place, i would like it. i guess it would just be better if it was some place she liked.

All i can say is just think about what your doing.

Don't make any sort of commitment until you are more ready to be married. You should look into courtship....it focus so much on comitment and not basing a relationship on purely on emotions. just wait
