Horchata varies not only from country to country but also from city to city and from one person who makes it to another. Want to make it at home? I have the recipe and it´s not that difficult. Also chicha which is sold by vendors on the street in Caracas is really the same as horchata.

I tried it in Puerto Rico (nothing against PR, I am married to a Boriqua,) and it was nasty! It tasted like something had burned, lol!

Mexico is the only place I ever had it and it was really good. I would love to try it again, wherever they have it.
