As long as it hasnt been sitting around for a long time, it sure is ok.
Pasturization kills most bacteria. This is done to milk because the milk is going to go to a grocery store in another state, sit on the shelf for a week, get bought, and be consumed slowly over the corse of a week. that time allows bacteria to reproduce, and can make folks sick. The process also destroys some of the nutrients, thats why youll see alot of milk with added vitamins and the like.

In the end, cow milk is made to feed a baby cow. It has to be safe when it comes out or the baby would die.

It is absolutely fine to drink. We used to have a milk cow and after we finished milking it, we put it through a separator which is a machine that separates the milk from the cream. We kept the cream in a separate jar from the milk. The milk probably ended up being 2% (just guessing from the way it looked). My mother used the milk to cook with and we drank it too. The cream was sometimes churned into butter or eaten on cereal (Grapenuts and cream, YUM YUM!) The only thing I would caution you about is to take a look at how clean everything is. We had to take the separator apart and wash it every time we finished using it. It was a pain, but we never got sick from eating or drinking the raw milk.

Most milk is pastrauized, which means it is boiled to a very high temperature which kills most/all bacteria or diseases.

Most people agree that is it, most of the time, safe to drink milk straight from a cow, however. It will probably be milker than you're used to though! Some people even believe that drinking 'raw milk', as it is called, is heathier.

you will be fine. Warm milk straight from the cow is not bad, its kinda sweet and it all depends on what the cow eats. If you chill it before you will have to scrape off the "butter" layer that forms on top. Its good, try it

Raw milk is dangerous only if it sits long enough for bacteria to grow. It comes out of the cow safe (unless the cow is sick, of course).

Unless you live on a dairy farm....no. All milk is pasturized and processed. Enjoy.
