Discussion. Once YOU start to preach we can do that too. I discuss things with people often and most of my friends arn't belivers. They often come to me with questions as I don't start by preaching at them. But if they preach at me I do respond in kind and they realize that they started it.

Many people who believe strongly about anything are often closed to humbly addressing the views of others. The point is that we address those with different views with humility and care.

To single out the religious right is not fair to them. It is the same to say that all Muslims are supporters of terrorism. While a bit extreme to compare, it makes the point clear.

The listener's definition of preaching is a good portion of the answer to this question. The definiton of "religious right" is also important. What's on your mind?

Sadly, most are only capable of preaching. They fear other ideas, and so refuse to listen.

Insecure people preach, intellectual people reason, most people feel. Try to find a well balanced christian to speak with they are out there I know I am one.

They are unable to have an intelligent discussion about anything because they are brainwashed with FoxNews talking points. They are drones! God help them!

They are unable to remove themselves from their beliefs long enough to examine them. If they were capable of such a thing, they would all be athiests.
