Fruit juice (tomato, grape, potatoes, fruit salad, whatever) about 1/2 gal
clean plastic jug (bigger than the amount of juice)
NO METAL CONTAINERS.... GLASS AND PLASTIC ONLY!!!
4 or6 cups of sugar
one envelope yeast
If you make more... add more of everything...
mix it all up.... poke holes in the top of the big jug, sit in a warm place, watch the bubbles and cool scientific concepts at work.
About 3 days.... keep an eye on it... as long as it is really bubbling, it's still making alcohol. Strain, try to leave the muck at the bottom. Chill WELL! And drink it.
We use lemon lime or ginger ale and make coolers.
Don't just dismiss my recomendation of tomato juice... I mean it. It's pretty good, you can add the hot sauce and celery, olives... And we really used shredded taters once... that stuff will blind ya if you're not careful.
anyway, common sense is all you need, after the first 5 attempts, you'll have something you'd serve to friends as a specialty drink.
have fun

i would say, if you are a wine drinker,
chill wine bottle
get two goblets (cups)
put chilled wine in cooler with ice
set in front of fire place with burning log
pour some wine in goblets
you and partner toast a good toast to each other
sip and be marry.
i am a non drinker, but that sounded like i could be a romantic time with the one you love.

Buy one from a store. Wine takes a really long time to age to perfection.
