I am looking for a good brand of mayonnaise that does not taste like miracle whip or fat free stuff. I am making a chicken salad and I just do not want a real mayonnaisy taste. Any brand suggestions? Thanks!

People, I specifically said I don't like Miracle Whip, but yet some people are still suggesting that?!

Hellmans, My family won't eat any other kind. And Miracle Whip is just gross. I don't know what is so "miracle" about it???

Mexican people are partial to Hellman's mayonaise.

Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England.
In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York.
This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico.
But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost.
The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss.
Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.
The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.

Cremica is the best brand for mayonnaise in india. They have a range of egg mayonnaise and veg mayo which taste awesome. Infact they are the suppliers of mayonnaise to big food chains like Mcdonald's, Subway, etc in India. I personally like their products :) Enjoy......

Kraft Real Mayonnaise is what I use. I think it's the best.

I prefer using Hellman's Light and Miracle Whip Light. Both taste like the originals. I use half mayo and half miracle whip in potato salad, macaroni salad, tuna salad, chicken salad etc. The miracle whip cuts the mayonnaise taste and leaves you the creamy taste of mayonnaise. This tip has been used in my family for years. I hope this helps.

In the South there is only one way to go when it comes to Mayonnaise. Duke's mayo, made in South Carolina, is addictive. Once you try it, you will never want to try anything else. If you cannot find it in your store, get online and you can order it to be delivered...
