yes and i never told him. my best friend asked him to prom and i never told him because I was afraid that he would say no and i'd loose him as a friend. 7 years later i'm back in touch with him and hugging him still brings back all those old feelings. sometimes I regret not telling him but everything happens for a reason right?
my word of advice....if you genuinely think you love a friend in more than the friendly way tell them. it's better to have lost a friend or deal with a little discomfort than it is to wonder for years if they ever felt the same.

Well...I have a best friend who I dated for 3 1/2 yrs. and now we're just "friends" according to him but I would love to have things work out differently....we have soooo much fun together and spend every waking moment together, I just don't understand why he won't try again. I guess I will have to face stone cold hard facts and move on, whether I like it or not!
If this has happened to you then go for it ....there's nothing better than being close best friends and possibly having it turn into something romantic, I honestly believe that it makes the relationship stronger when you have both of those assets.
Good Luck!

Yes. Our senior year of high school. I was floored when my sister said one day while I was making my friend a cake "you like him don't you". Eight years later we are married and have a two year old.

if were talking guy friends. then that would be a certainly. i think we became friends so we COULD date each other. and i think that after college we might get married. i'm not for sure. but if it doesnt work out you still have that friendship bond. even if seems a little weird at first.

Best place to find someone is where you're most comfortable, and more important, where you're both being who you really are.
