I have an English Cocker Spaniel, most Cocker Spaniels are American.
Luna is orange roan Field Bred, which means she has orange spots and as a field bred she has a shorter coat and they only docked 1/3 of her tail.
Why an English Cocker Spaniel? because they are energetic, can go for a 2 mile walk every morning. She is affectionate, smart, and agile. She is the 2nd one I have owned, my parents owned one when I was small.
English Cockers can easily be trained for agility, dog dancing, or as a therapy dog. They are considered a "merry" dog, and companion dog. They typically take very well to a family or one person.
They have very good hunting skills if that's what you like. And they love games. Luna loves a good game of hide and seek. She also loves her "smart toys"
I also have a Lab/Rott named Butch that I rescued. He is a good dog. Unfortunately he is a bit of a barker, and a little overly protective if there is a dog other than Luna around.

I have 3 dogs. The oldest is a Shiba Inu I literally found on the street. He's fantastic. We think he's about 3yrs old or so. The next in line is a Chow/American Eskimo mix. He looks like a miniature Chow, but without the bad habits & attitude. He & the Shiba Inu are like brothers, and they will both guard your food! Never had to train either of them to do that! And then...my 85lb Lab/Chow mix...she's still a puppy, too! She's crazy, but very sweet & really a beautiful dog. We adore them! We have kids, and all 3 dogs are wonderful to them!

I have a mixed breed bloodhound and a black and tan coonhound, both from shelters. I've also in the past had an Akita mix, also from the shelter.
I love my hounds because they are extremely laid-back and easy to get along with. They are difficult to train and their barks are very loud, but they are just so amiable, it's hard to dislike them when you meet them!

I have two dogs:
4 year old Golden Retriever - I love him because he is big and furry and he just makes me smile when I see him wagging his big tail at me with his tennis ball in his mouth.
7 month old Shih Tzu - I love this little guy because he is soo lovable, he has this face that you just can't resist, and plus he doesn't bark at everyone and everything like most small dogs do. He is super friendly to everyone and is very smart ...alot smarter than my Golden Retriever.

And Toby, a 28lb miniature schnauzer that is loud, fearless, loving, and fiercely protective.

We are the proud owners of a "Lhasa Apso" . She is so gentle and loving. She is our life. We love her so much. ( I never thought I would get so attached to a dog because not to long ago I hated all dogs but not anymore)

I have a German Shepherd/ husky mix and he is about 110 pounds. He loves to sit on every ones lap, and roll over and show his belly. He will actually roll over in the park and let all the little kids rub his belly. He also has one brown eye and one blue eye.
