wash ur hair and when it's damp, apply gel to a section of ur hair that im gonna work w/. Take that section and starting @ the bottom, fold it like an accordion (or like paper fan) work ur way 2 the top. Hold it for a 20-45 seconds, real firmly. Then let it go and do the same w/ the rest of da hair. and there u got waves

BTW, i think u have 2 straighten ur hair before doing as listed above..

Okay.Good question.I have the same exact hair.First of all I would use a straightening iron.(con-air,etc.)Straighten it really really well so it won't look very poofy.Next,Use a curling iron to make it have a little bounce and intensity. You can use those hair curlers that make it look more professional.I don;t think you really want that look.use some hairspray. But if you don't want it hard and crunchy like that, use curl hold gel.(bed head etc.)I hope my advice wors for you.Goodluck.

After you shower, while your hair is still wet, apply mouse and hair gel (they make kinds for curly hair). Comb that through your hair. Then flip your head upside down and squeeze the excess wetness out of your hair with a towel, scrunching your hair up in the process. With your head still flipped over, blow dry your hair using a diffuser. Dry your hair completely, then flip hair back normal. You should have beautiful curls!

Use big rollers with either a straightner or a perm. That will give you wavy, not curly, hair. Remember that it will look curlier at the beginning - you have to give a perm a few days to relax.

Try a gel or mousse and then scrunch it. But if your hair is longer you will need a lot of product so that it doesn't puff out.
