Weeeell... usually the "diet" version of the beverage is worse for you than the original. Take coke, for instance. The diet has A LOT MORE sugar than the regular coke. If you're asking if it's the carbonation that hurts, no. Carbon is not an issue. Just the sugar and a few added chemicals.

Don't be fooled by Diet or Light fizzy drinks - they are just as bad for you and fattening as the full sugar/caffeine ones. They contain alternatives to sugar and caffeine which are just as damaging. You sound like you need to cut down a lot, 5-10 cans a day is VERY bad!!!!

Yes, as they replace the sugar with artificial sweeteners and other unnatural crap. Some sweeteners have been found to be carcinogenic (cancer causing).
Plus they are diuretic so help cause dehydration and often contain caffieine. Finally there is not an ounce of nutrition or vitamins in them.
Instead, drink lots of water, a little fruit juice and try herbal teas. Hope this helps!

Some sweeteners, artificial flavours and colours can affect you adversely. Children can become hyper-active but this many cans could do the same for adults.
Cola drinks contain phosphoric acid which leaches calcium from your bones, leading to osteoporosis.

those still have sugar in them, they may be better than most but throw some water in every once in a while. I had a friend who only drink pop and in a year he went in the hospital twice because of dehydration

YES. Very bad. Not necessarily the carbonated drink is bad but the corn syrup, sugar, caffeine, aluminum can, etc. is horribly bad for you and can lead to cancer or diabetes.

yes. first of all, the carbonation gets put in your bones, which is not good. it takes 30 gallons of water to remove the amount that each can puts in. so if you drink 3 cans of carbonated drinks, it takes 90 gallons of water to remove them. and carbonated drinks can cause yeast infections. it only takes one carbonated drink to give you one (if ur a girl. i dont think guys can get yeast infections l0l).
and also diet/light drinks can cause cancer.

our bodies weren't designed to process chemicals & all the gas in fizzy pop irratate your stomach lining & throat...try flavoured STILL water .
Plain water is best...it flushes toxins out
