Why do girls always go after the bad boys, realize they're all a bunch of jerks, then complain that there are no nice guys in the world?

Two reasons: confidence and a challenge. Women are attracted to guys who are confident in themselves and pose a challenge to them. Sadly these characteristics are mostly present in the "bad boys". However here is the trick... do whatever you need to do to obtain these characteristics, yet remain being that nice guy. If you do that you will become what women are looking for in the short term (someone to have an exciting time with) and long term (someone they will want to bring home to the parents). Just remember not loose your identity... women have a keen sense in recognizing if you are sincere or just a fake. Once you have this down, you will stand out and women will see that you are a damm good catch (there are a lot men who don't know how to be men out there!). At that point you will turn down all the girls that have been to town with all the "bad boys"... Cause dude you deserve better than that!!!

To be honest with you, I don't know why we ever start dating those guys. We know from the start that it's not going to work out. I dated a couple of bad boys, then I settled down and married a good guy. Just remeber that while the bad boys may get more one night stands, it's ALWAYS the good guy that wins in the end. Some beautiful girl is going to see how great you are and choose you over all the other guys she's been with. Then you get to shove it in their faces! :)

ill admit i like the bad boys or at least the football players, but nice guys are okay every once and a while. the reason is the " bad boys" tend to stand out where as the nice guys are in the back if your not outgoing your never going to get noticed.

Sadly there are alot of girl that way and I'm so mad at them. But there are so many bad boys out there to. I'm a nice christian girl and I just want a guy who would treat me well and not push me to do something I don't want to do. Nice to know there are nice guys out there!

Because the girls your refering to have not matured enough to look for quality in a guy .. only quantity. Girls don't start looking for nice guys until they want to have kids and get married -- say about 30 years old ...
Thank God I wised up and found a nice guy to marry (I'm 34).

Brenard, I know what you mean, I'm like that but girls just look right past me and onto the guys that just want sex and then after two weeks they get dumped. Then they come crying to guys like me. But we can't sterotype, not all women do that, it's just that alot of guys get looked over so much they tend to make that generalization. I simply don't understand women, but I don't think anybody does.

Don't loose hope. I actually married one of those "nice guys". I had fifteen of the most wonderful years imaginable. He passed away five years ago, but I have those memories forever.
When the girls get tired of being used and abused, and treated like third class citizens... they will notice you.

not all of that is true you know. there are some girls that are like that though. they like the bad boys because they think that they can have more fun. then later all the guy wants is sex so it's not all that good. but some girls see past that ****

Women like bad guys because their are a challenge. Bad guys know how to be rough with you but still gentle. If I date a nice guy, I run over them because they let me.

It has to do with excitement. The bad boys are exciting and you never know what to expect. Then they do something we don't expect, like start being jerks and that's the end of it.
