It should not, your husband should have anticipated you need for the absolute perfect cuppa and had it ready and waiting for the moment you opened your divine lips to request it!

Well, first you have to tell him where everything is. Then you will probably have to get up to locate something that he can't seem to find. Then you will have to show him how much water is needed. Then you will need to test the water to see if it is hot enough. Oh, and he won't know which kind of tea bag to use. Then you will end up telling him you will do it yourself. So, the question really is how long should it take YOU to make a cup of tea. he he

He will never be able to do it if he doesn't know how.
Or if there are no clean cups. Or no teabags in the house.
Of if he doesn't want to.

If he has all the supplies and stays on-task it should take no more than 15 minutes. A whistling teakettle helps.

If he is a good husband he will do it as quickly as possible. I once got my ex to go to the store in the middle of the night for mint chocolate ice cream. I was pregnant and had a craving. He told me no at first but I told him that I would go myself and that wouldn't go so he got up and went.

Good luck with that!!

It depends on his skill at making tea. Heating the water, 20 min. making the tea, 10 min. more or less.

Should: about 8 minutes. Five minutes for the water to boil, 3 minutes to steep.

Actual: as long as he thinks he can push your buttons and still get away with it.

depends on how long it takes for him to work out how to turn the button on the kettle on, in that room where food comes out of, you know, where the lady of the house spends most of the day cooking lovly grub. Oh, a kitchen!

PS only kidding, about 10 mins if your me :p
