Are you, or have you ever been a soldier? If not then you cant even begin to comprehend what it means to be a defender of our country. Proud men and women have given the ultimate sacrifice so that you and I can live free. We are the greatest power on this planet, and with that comes a very big responsibility, just look at all the great nations throughout time and you will see that there is no such thing as dying in vane.

Well lets see..he can do what Bill Clinton did and ignore that we were under attack. Then our private citizens can die in vain and property will be destroyed (Trade Tower buildings). This would then allow the terroist to be fully functional in our country just like they are in France, Spain and other countries too afraid to stand up and protect them selves. I am guessing you are sleeping rather well these nights since the Bush Administration has seen that our Nation is protected. Oh and you can still ask silly questions like this one and not be put in jail or killed for having an opinion. Good Day. And God Bless America.

So you consider freeing other people to enjoy the same life you do free of fear as an unneccessary thing? Do you not remember that the same people who are with "other nations" are the ones that came over here to kill our citizens? Would you rather fight them here or somewhere else? We didn't chose this war, it was brought to our shores, and we decided it was better to fight over there than wait until they had enough people over here to do some really huge damage.

Remember that our soldiers are all volunteer, and they don't think that working for someone else's freedom (including yours!!) is wrong, or in vain. It is their choice, and they are a lot more feeling about other people than you seem to be.

He's getting involved with other nations to protect them and to protect AMERICA. Our soldiers are NOT dying in vane. They joined the service to protect our country and they know the risks. Most soldiers/veterans are proud to have serve their country.

*The veterans who aren't proud are wakos like John Kerry.

Let the soldiers die in vain. Their men of war. Anyone who is willing to take up arms against another human being, even in self defense, deserves to die in vain. I for one admit freely that I DO NOT support the troops.

I am speechless. But what else can I expect from kids who are being taught that America is bad because we fight for freedom. Freedom is not free kids and unfortunately there are those who want to kill you cut your heads off after they cut your private parts off and stick them in your mouths like some terrorists did to two our soldiers a few days ago. Unlike some I will protect my family from this evil with every ounce of my strength and I support our troops and pray for their safety. Are terrorists more evil then we are? Are we evil for protecting our way of life and helping others pursue a life of individual freedom? When asked this of a soldier he replied I don't judge these people I just send them to god so he can that's his job. I pray for peace but I watch my enemies...

It's obvious you know nothing about war. We didn't start this war and any soldiers death won't be in vain if this damn country would stay united and focused on the issue at hand. Which is that we are fighting terrorism worldwide.
