do pilates. It's fun and works really fast. You can get pilates tape at Walmart or you can order them online. They're really cheap. I've included a website for you below. You an read all customer reviews too. Good luck on your stomach-flattening adventure!

Cycling, Swimming, Rowing, Aerobics... anything with large, rhythmic, muscular movements like running 3-5 times a week for more than 30 minutes/session. This will help to burn the fat off of the muscle that may be hiding underneath. After you adapt to that, add in calisthenics (situps, pushups... etc.) and light to moderate resitance exercises like weight lifting and resistance bands. Eat 5 light meals a day and drink plenty water.

This is a great exersize: Lay on the ground on your back and stretch your arms above your head (like a long pike or you're going for a dive), then lift your legs up and your arms up (like a jacknife dive i guess) and touch your legs with your hands, then go back down. Don't let your feet hit the ground! You'll start to feel a burn after about 7 of these. The slower the better.

Also, there's a roller thing (ab roller I think its called) where you kneel on the ground and hold onto a wheel and roll out and in. This is a fantastic workout!

Anything that twists your torso is good for stomach flattening. Using a hula hoop is an easy and fun way. Nothing gets the job done like Pilates, though.

Diet.

It has been proven that tennisplayers do not have less fat on their right arm, so the logic is that you cannot point out a part of your body to exercise massive believing that it will lose fat exactly there. You can exercise stomack to make it nice and strong, but you have to diet to get that fat off.

The south beach diet by Dr Agatson is very effective to burn stomack-fat. Try it.

yoga or Pilate's are great for home use and give you leaner muscle. the exercises they do are less strenuous but work.this article has some yoga to get you started
