I don't think so---I think legally you have to be a US citizen. They require you to show proof and paperwork---such as birth cert., SSN, high school grad., etc... and many jobs they require a detailed background check, which would undercover if you are illegal.

No, illegal immigrants can not join the military; however, sometimes people do falsify documents and enter the service erroneously. Until recently only citizens or legal residents could join; residents were limited to being in the military for no longer than 8 years at which time they must have obtained citizenship to remain in the military longer. Currently the rules have changed allowing residents to stay in the military longer. Additionally there is an expedited service for military members who are residents to gain citizenship.

No they are not allowed, however since they want to come here illegally, what the government could do is.... give them a choice when they get caught.... go to Iraq for two years after military training or go home. Maybe then they will at least help our country in some way.... There are so many illegals here, we would be able to bring alot of our troops home.... instead of just coming here and taking our jobs, not learning our language, etc., maybe they would learn our language in the process....

I don't think they can because they're not American citizens and if one is allowed to do so, they're only trying to receive their citizenship.
