Is it wrong for me to be possessive when it comes to my boyfriend? I feel like everytime he's out at the club or whatever, he's talking to other girls and I start getting jealous. He's always out and about with his boys and that gets on my nerves. There's no telling what he's doing with them. I submitted another question related to this one the other day about him and just wanted to add this: He acts like I'm not even his girlfriend when we're in public with his boys. He act like he can barely give me a hug but when he's at my house (without them), he's all over me. I don't know if he's got another girl out there or what but I need to know! I've been trying to call him but his phone is always off whenever I call! What do you think?

I don't think he's ashamed of me cus him and his boys think I'm a very attractive girl...it's probably because he got another girl walking around!

first off, he's insecure about you...don't take offense to this, but he doesn't think you're hot enough to sport around in public.

second, you're either insecure because he's giving you a reason to be, such as he's likely cheating, or you just need to learn to trust him...you've gotta figure that one out on your own.

last, you also have to understand that guys are not going to be all over their girls in public, the same as when at home. now, what i'm saying here is different than my first point, because you can't expect him to all up on you in public....but, he should hold your hand or put his arm around you when appropriate, otherwise it's like i said; he's embarrased to sport you around.

I really think you need to end it with this guy before he gets the honors of breaking your heart. I dated one of those once and he was always looking over his shoulder!
You need to get away from him. I don't normally tell people that. In fact, I'm one who always looks for a solution the best I can. But in this case, he's sounds like a player. If you haven't been dating him that long, odds are you could be the other woman (his dirty little secret) and he has a steady girlfriend he's hiding from more than he's hiding from you.
The phone being off all the time is a clear sign he doesn't want somebody to know about you.
I would get rid of that ball -n- chain.

It's not only destined for failure, but I believe your relationship with him isn't as strong as you imagine it to me. Your needs are different than his. You need him more than he needs you. It's not going to change. It'll get worse. The decision is yours - you can endure it, submit to it, go deeper in denial, but you're describing a boyfriend that is still fishing in the sea of love.

My current gf felt the same way you do about her ex. She could never fully trust him on his own.

This was not without good reason either -- he ended up cheating on her. Mind you, he may not do that.. but you should always ALWAYS follow your gut feeling. It is usually right.

When you are with the right one.. you won't have to worry. You'll just know.

That's the way guys act when they just want a "trophy" girlfriend.
