You super glue a couple of razor blades on either side of the under dash unit. Make sure the blades are pointed to the back, Most theives will grab the unit on both sides and yank. Imagine the comic surprise when he leaves his finger tips on your car carpet. It will also leave a sample of his DNA to identify him later.

Talk to an indash stereo installer about having your set mounted in the glove box or behind a hidden panel. I've also heard of guys making special use of behind or between the seat compartments. Don't booby trap it man. Those low life thieves aren't worth going to jail for. They're probably just looking for fast drug money anyway. If they see no stereo they'll move on to easier pickins' Stew

Nice idea but they will then sue you for everything you will ever have. Booby traps are illegal. I guess they figure it takes the sport out of it. I however did have a fish hook and razor blade collection that I innocently stored taped and glued to my sterea in my Jeep. Someone tried to reach ynder the dash to push it out of the hole and cut the crap out of themselves. There was blood everywhere (scary now with AIDS), but they did not steal it.

Super glue a normally closed momentary switch to the back of the stereo that is connected to a stun gun in the seat cushion (both sides). He pulls out the stereo, he sings soprano for the rest of his life.

You cannot. Our legal system says that is illegal because you are attempting to do harm to another person. Even though that other person is trying to steal your property!! America has a CRAPPY legal system. So just get Lo-Jack or buy an ONSTAR equipped vehicle and use the tracking device to find the bastards who stole your car.

get a cd player with a detachable face, there wouldnt be a point for someone to steal it without the face.

It's illegal but I've put razor blades on the back of the radio. You can super glue them on but if you do it BE CAREFUL that you don't cut your own fingers.

my dad wants to install super tweeters above the drivers side door that will blow a bad guys eardrums. radio shack told him that is illegal. haha.
