Generally it's caused by stress, but it can also be caused by a mineral deficiency. You might pick up some tonic water, try drinking 8 oz. a day for a couple of days and see if the twitching stops.

It's just a muscle spasm. It happens to everyone. It can be brought on by stress, fright, or trauma.
