good question. I don't celebrate holidays, but over the years "Christianity" adopted all kinds of pagan customs and traditions, including holidays and festivals. for example, they adopted the celebration of the birth of the sun god and turned it into christmas when it's obvious Jesus wasn't born in the winter...

Ummm, exactly where in the bible does it say we can only celebrate 7 feasts? Now I understand that there are only 52 weeks in a year, hence the 52 sabbaths thing, but didn't read anything about only 7 feasts. Just because He told us to celebrate 7 feasts, does it specifically say we can't celebrate any others? Does it say, for example, that we can't celebrate a feast at a wedding? Somehow, I don't think so.

He commanded us to his feasts and sabbaths, yes, but Holidays celebrate the people who shaped our culture and faith. So I don't think He minds us celebrating the life of an important figure or the actions of important figures.

ACTUALLY the ONLY days were instructed to celebrate is Passover or The Lord's Supper on the day of Nisan 14 of the Jewish Calendar (on a Tuesday). Jesus said to do this "in rememberance of Him" He said NOTHING about any other day, and since he came to fulfill the law, the sabbath days were Jewish, not Christian traditions (I'm not saying don't respect or even follow them to some degree), just not to the degree the world does.

I do not celebrate holidays. like thanks giving for example i do not need to thank God on just a certain day of the year i thank Gid year round. And Christmas i dont celebrate that either. Some days they have it on the 25th and some days on the 26h now if it is his birthdate wouldnt it be on the same day every year and why do we get gifts on his birth day. And were in the Bible does it say that his birthday was on the 25th of December anyway.

I celebrate holidays because I want to. I don't live my life according to what an imaginary being "commands" me to do.

Basically, because of the following reasons:
1: you have no idea what you are talking about.
2: we don't have to do anything God says. That is what free will is all about.

God would get mad at Arbor Day and Ground Hog Day? When you pray tell god to lighten up and most find him irrelevant.

Are you Christian or Jew. Christians don't need to worry about the feasts. Jew did, but now do not have to.
