i was thinking about geting bangs but dont know if there to childish for a 14 year old

Talk with your stylist she can angle them around your face , not childish at all.

That depends--is your hair long or short? If you have long hair I'd suggest a perm--it can be a drastic change especially if your hair was naturally straight or a bit wavy. I don't think bangs are childish, like side-bangs are nifty. There's a lot you can do with your hair, you just have to find something that works for you. Good Luck!

Long layered bangs that frame the face are not too young for 14. Go to the drugstore and look for hairstyle magazines. They will probably have articles on what hairstyles work for different face shapes, and you can than take a picture to your hairstylist (they like it alot if you bring in a picture, rather than saying "I want to like like a cross between Jennifer Aniston and Sacrlett Johanssen")

The shorter the bangs, the younger you will look. I think a long, layered bang would suit you and your age, it may even make you look a bit older if that's what your looking for!

Sideswept bangs are really sexy and you can get them short enough so that if you want to wear them down you can or sideswept or just blend them in.
