OK! Here goes. Man sinned and God had to turn His face away. Jesus offered key word here OFFERED himself on the cross as redemption for us.
While he hung there the sins of the world were cast upon him and God turned His face from his son. This is where Jesus says, *my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me/* He no longer felt the loving presence of his father.
This was a gift of love but one that Jesus was willing to do. *no greater love has man that he lay his life down for his brother.*
God didn't *need* to do this. Jesus chose it.
Oh and that part of owner, controller and creator? There is this little tiny thing called *free will*.

Because in order to "retain your former state" you have to have a sacrifice in equal to the sin that you committed. That's why Jesus had to be a Perfect Man, the same as Adam. If he had been more or less the sacrifice would "not have equalled what had been lost." By giving his perfection up while adam threw his away the BALANCE was restored. In other words, YOU CAN'T GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING. This is why the fallen Angels have no one to die and redeem them. Could He do this without a sacrifice? NO, not God, but I wouldn't have either, hell, i'd have wiped man off the face of the Earth and started over, so be glad he had a system of sacrifice and balance.

Read the bible from cover to cover and you'll discover that God had a plan of salvation in mind from before he even created the world. You're right in saying that God is sovereign, the creator and sustainer of life ... he's also a just and holy God who cannot overlook our sin. Only through a perfect sacrifice can our sin be atoned for (under the Jewish law this was a lamb - as remembered at passover). Jesus is that perfect sacrifice, once for all, so that we can be justified in God's eyes and secure an eternal future with him. Reading the bible is the only way to understand this, as it's the way God speaks to us today. Hope that helps you in your search for answers ...

Well think of it this way. When Adam sinned, he sold us as his descendants into slavery to sin and death. Since he had lost perfection himself, he couldn't pass it on to his offspring. Something of equal value had to be exchanged for the perfect human life Adam lost. And this one who would offer up his life would be sinless and perfect, thereby paying the 'ransom price'. Jehovah God mercifully gave his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, so that we might have the hope of eternal, perfect life in paradise like Adam had before he sinned. It was never God's will for people to get sick, grow old, and die.
Since God put us on this wonderful
Earth with all of its beautiful scenery, plants, and animals, would it not make sense that he would want us to enjoy it forever, instead of only a relatively short 75-100 years? And why do we as humans seek to continuously prolong and look for greater meaning our lives, while the animals simply live and die without contemplating their existance? God wants us to enjoy life to the full, and the only way we can do that is if we live forever, and the only way that can happen is if we have faith in Jesus' Christ's ransom sacrifice and act on that faith by doing God's will. Please read Romans 5:12-19, John 17:3, Hebrews 10:11-14, Acts 8:26-38 and Matthew 20:26-28.

Do you feel that all you do is just not enough? That all the good works one does just doesn't get themselves to the closeness one desires with God? The answer is the sin separates us from God.
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God is a perfect being, and as a result, how can we as imperfect beings be in the presence of God? The answer is that God provided a way to remove the sin in our lives.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
When God sent his son to die on the cross and placed all the sin in the world. Not just the current sin, but the past, present, and future. This is a free gift to anyone that accepts it.

Other side can safely say why kill innocents in- fidels for a place in the heavens,is that what is desired by the God or the almighty. It is like this dear that human blood has become cheap that every body is after sacrifice and has limited his range of brain to such short sightedness.
To forgive and forget are also known as virtues perhaps it is not written in Arabic. But it is written that love thy neighbors, but it is in English. So the madness to make others realize this is going on.WHO HAS GOT THE TIME TO PONDER OVER ALL THIS SACRIFICE THING.

Well.. I just don't believe it was really like that, doesn't make any sense, I think the story was t least a bit different, BUT To control someone you first have to make them weaker than you, and: What's one of the most weakening feeling of all? GUILT That's why church wants you to believe this and feel guilty because the best person on earth " died in a very painful and slow way because of you" It's actually very simple, the same way, mum makes you feel bit guilty when you left a mess in the kitchen, so you go and clean it up lol (OK mum's thing is much less cruel, and she's actually right)

No Darling, it says that GOD sent HIS son to save us. Jesus became the SACRIFICIAL LAMB for our sins. This is a little deep but Satan challenged GOD's rightful sovereignty and because GOD wished to leave no doubt that he alone was GOD HE allowed Satan to prove his point. Now the problem with this is that GOD created Satan and Satan knew from the beginning that he would lose. So GOD gave us free will we can choose who we wish to serve. But Satan days are limited and he will burn forever and all his followers. Because Satan was an angel he had to be challenged on an equal or close to equal level hence JESUS. But Jesus is still too strong for Satan. And HIS blood covers us and protects us from Satan. Now if GOD doesn't shut this down for once and for all this rebellion could keep rising every time someone gets an itch. So GOD is allowing the complete cycle to run then once HE cleans it up it will stay clean.

I believe God needs our sacrifice to show our faith and love towards him. Not everyone gets into heaven, only those who believe in God and know that their sins are forgiven. By sacrificing his son, he allows people if they have faith, and believe this, to enter the kingdom of God.
God hates sin, sin is basically disobeying God. If you disobey God, chances are you drift away from God. I believe sacrifices are to show our faith to God, and today the whole world should believe that Jesus bore the burden when he was on the cross. God loves you so much that he sacrificed his only son so that you may be forgiven.

It is like this: Death is the penalty for sin, period. In the Old Testament people sacrificed animals to obtain forgiveness, but when Jesus came, he served as the once-and-for-all sacrifice that ended all sacrifices. His physical death paid the price for all of our sins and by accepting what he did on the cross for us, we, too, can obtain salvation and forgiveness. Since Jesus is the author of life, he took his life back again after his physical death, and so he lives forever just as he did from eternity past and will come to judge the world. Noticed that I said "physical." Our lives are comprised of God's breath of life or soul. That is the essence of who we are. This body is temporary. Get it?
