Realistically man...Nobody wins in an argument like that...I am agnostic...I believe that there is a God but I don't believe in the god of any religion. Atiestic people on this site seem to only go against the beliefs of Christians..and Christians are just sticking to thier convictions but they would rather just not argue with you guys....I feel like im in the middle and I wonder what exactly is the point of Arguing with them? I mean seriously...Who cares if they believe...its not a race to see who is right...Believe what you want and Let them believe how they want...Christians...Seriously though....it gets annoying how much you talk about god...so keep it to yourselves and I think everyone will get along...both sides stop forcing your beliefs on each other.

If they back down it is probably Christians that are not fully educated in there beliefs. However there are quite a few Atheists that give blunt nonsense answers that maybe Christians wont waste there time with?
What Christian would you like to have a debate with how about Albert Einstein or Hugh Ross? I am pretty confident they have a lot of the answers because they did the homework and came up with one answer! There has to be a Creator!
And ultimately we will win because we know what the goal is and have the truth. I hope you will seek it out as well!! Good luck maybe we will meet someday!

there is actual evidence of God, you choose to suppress it. Romans a million:19-20 For what would nicely be widespread about God is undemanding to them, because God has shown it to them. (20) For his invisible attributes, specifically, his eternal skill and divine nature, were obviously perceived, ever because the introduction of the international, interior the flaws that were made. so as that they are without excuse. God's existence isn't depending on the Bible. also, the undeniable actuality that Atheists reject the Bible does not replace the actuality of the Bible. Christianity isn't fullyyt a faith depending equipment. you want to study your salvation if the purely reason you're a Christian is because you concern lack of existence. Christians do not hate Atheists. in case you do not believe that Atheists are evil (like all mankind) than you stand in competition to God's inerrant note of the Bible. Romans 3:10-12 with the aid of the indisputable fact that's written: "None is righteous, no, not one; (11) no individual knows; no individual seeks for God. (12) All have became aside; mutually they're getting valueless; no individual does good, not even one." Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the distinction of God, Nowhere interior the Bible does God command us to have an "open concepts" and "attempt new issues" as you propose. all of us isn't gained to God's actuality by using an charm to good judgment, yet by using proclamation of God's actuality. Jeremiah 17:9 the middle is deceitful specifically issues, and desperately ill; who can comprehend it?

It's because logic will always win out over mythology and folklore.
And they know it. Some will stubbornly keep at it but they are the ones that are the saddest of the sad. Like the Down's syndrome kid one church dressed up and trained to spew scripture. Sadly, the kid had no idea what he was saying (like most christians) because if you asked him to explain the verse or even give an example, he'd just blink his eyes and then spew another line of verse. Utterly pathetic but an excellent example of christianity at work.
Oh and Yoda Green's? did you troll my name in a vain attempt to make me look as stupid as you? Won't work brainiac. One can tell my posts from yours easily.

Public debate should not be about winning. It should be about spreading truth. I'm an agnostic, myself, and I often discuss religious topics with Christians. I actively try to influence their opinions, and have converted many Christians to agnosticism and atheism. I do it because I enjoy teaching, and I enjoy learning from others.
If you're compelled to debate Christians out of a desire to win a debate, rather than a desire to disseminate truth, please stay out of the debate. You're ruining it for the rest of us.

We don't quit, and we certainly don't give up. I quit because smacking someone across the mouth is not honoring to God! Other people better than me, will not lose their patience and will debate the issue with love. Nobody quits because we are wrong because we aren't. You will lose more in the end that you will want because not only will you lose the argument but you will lose your soul.

We get tired of beating our heads against the rocks in the other persons skull.
Seriously. If all it is doing is beginning an argument or the other person is really not even listening. Why, continue? We have better things to do with our time than be in stupid debates with those who are closed minded and not willing to listen.

As I read these comments. I see 19 responses. YOU, loudmouth, have not replied 1 time too any of the 19 responses. Why?
Who quit? You shot your mouth off and ran away. A typical Atheist. At least you should have stuck around and started cussing, like most of them do.

No, it's not because we realize that for a person to realize the truth about God, they have to be in a reasonable and mild spirit. It doesn't make sense to have an argument with someone, it's best when the person wants to know for themselves or are willing to listen to you in a respectable and dignified way. We just wait to catch you at a better time when you're not a riled up :)

Christians do not enter religious debates to win. It is not about winning. If you win the debate and cost someone their soul, where have you gotten?
Christians enter debate hoping to save souls.
