I get annoyed every time I witness the hate from black women whenever they see an interracial couple made up of a black man and a woman of another race (eg. white or hispanic). I think any black woman or anyone for that matter that thinks races shouldn't mix, is just plain RACIST - no if's, and's, but's or maybe's! Shouldn't everyone be free to date whoever makes them feel good?

i guess they're just jealous and feel as if they mustn't be good enough for black men.. though that isn't the case at all.. no one can help who they fall in love with... i'm speaking from experience here. i am white and my fiance is black and we love eachother so much, but about 2 months ago he lost a friend because she was upset with him being with me. i really don't understnad why black women act this way and i do agree with you, everyone should be free to date whomever they d**n well please.

I do think that everyone is and should be free to date whoever they choose. Myself, as a Black woman, I am not upset when I see a Black man dating someone of another race. The only thing that upsets me is when a Black man seems to, or, has no respect for Black women. Not in all cases, but sometimes you see Black men bending over backwards and doing things they wouldn't normally do all because they value women of other races more than Black women. Its a shame because, contrary to popular belief, Black women have tried to remain loyal to our men so that we can come together and create more beautiful people and have happy lasting relationships just like people of other races.

I agree that a lot of Black women get angry and give more hateful glares when they see interracial couples together. But it is not just when a Black man dates a white or latina; it is also when he dates a woman mixed with Black and something else. I am engaged now, but when I was dating, I dated mostly Black men. The vicious attitude I received from most of the Black women we came across was intolerable. And I am half Black! Ridiculous. But not all Black women are like that.

You have to realize there aren't that many positive black males out there available so there is a big competition for the one that are left and black women get territorial when they see another species invading their turf.
P.S. Jen you are absolutely wrong it is not an very high percentage of black men that marry outside their race, it is a low percentage, there are a lot of half breed bastards out there because other races are used as the one night stand by black men.

im a black young women and i get annoyed when 1 of my friends act ignorant towards mixed couples but guess at my best friends are WHITE and Purtorician so it not just the sistahs! I really don't care for mixed couples @ all. i feel as if god wanted u 2 b with that person and if they make u HAPPY GO 4 IT!!!!!!! Also it seems as if a black male would have a baby with a african american girl but won't marry her thats probably another reason.

i completly agree with what you say but i think that black women think that there are not that many good brothers left and the ones that are left all the white gurls take em. i dont think its a matter of they think interracial couples are bad they jus dont want to see a good black guy with sum white chik.
