Okay. It started working-out (weight lifting) again yesterday, and I'm feeling the pain/soreness today. In addition to stretching a lot, what should I do to ease the pain?

take an ibuprofen (2 200mg tabs. there best to reduce inflamation) and give yourself rest time. there is no need to go to the gym everyday. your body needs time to regenerate the muscle tissue that it damaged while you were lifting weights. while it heals, it regenerates new tissue, henceforth bigger muscles. so take it easy, make sure you set aside rest days, and use the ibuprofen if you need to.

Just relax and stretch a bit. You might have over-done it at the gym yesterday. When you exercise start out small and work your way up. You probably haven't exercised in a while and your muscles and retraining themselves. Make sure to exercise tomorrow and don't over do it.

go for a low intensity cardio session--this flushes out the lactic acid in your muscles

also--you can consider soaking in an ice bath--followed by a warm shower--this will also flush out the lactic acid

i don't know if you have noticed--but if you stop for a long time--then start workin out again--you get lactic acid buildup for days afterwards--

whereas if you have been consistently lifting for a long time--then the soreness isn't as long or as bad

Always stretch before and after - allow yourself time to warm up, and to cool off. Alternate warm and cool packs on the really sore spots.

Do a very mild workout. Using the muscles gets rid of the lactic acid.

try soaking in a hot tub. light some candles get some bubbles, and listen to soothing music. The candles and whatnot wont help your aches but it will help to soothe and relax you. another thing is icy hot pads. i use them and there great. make sure you stretch before everytime, and get some rest.
