Do'nt bother.... but yes I have... what is not being told now is how many who have, are now coming to realize how empty it really is, and are no longer promoting it in their churches.

The Book is basic in its message and within its first pages it states, "ITS NOT ABOUT YOU!" If you miss this essential element, then chances are your heading in the wrong direction.
The main focus is Jesus, so its not the book necessarily that changes your life, but your application and devotion to Christ. You will find countless of people testifying to how their lives were not only changed or renewed but completely became "a new creation in Christ." The book only helps point you in the right direction, but ultimately if you don't follow its path then your not heading anywhere new.
My wife and I originally did our 40 days of purpose together when we first started dating which was about 3 years ago. We are thinking of doing it again since we did enjoy it so much the first time. One chapter a day for the next 40 days, takes about 15-20 min max...you can do it! :)
Hope that helps...Cheers!

I started it with a small group in church, but, sadly, I couldn't finish it. I started again, this time alone, but w/ the journal. It's not easy to get through. I think there are better books out there that say the same thing. We are here to serve one another. Treat each other like family, Gods family. Good luck w/ your read.

Yeah I read it. I thought it was a bit of fluff and not a lot of substance. But I have had friends read it and it really changed their life. As a guy I really liked "Wild at Heart." Now it changed my life.

I've read it, it was a good thought provoking book. I can't say it changed my life or anything.

It made me once again astonished at how gullible most people are out there.
