I truely feel I love this person but because of age and distance (they live in ohio, I live in vermont) it all feel somewhat unstable, they say the love me too and reassure me it will last, I need opions!!! we plan to live together next year when I'm 18, I think it will work but everyone I know says it wont for one reason or another.

Edating will not give you a true knowledge of your guy! believe me; though a very small % of that sort of relationship do work. Dont jump in with all your eggs; if you must go ahead with that plan keep part of your eggs at home, as if some break up you could get back home pick up the rest and start all over again... i wish you luck if you must go ahead.

There are a few things working against you. The distance and ten year difference in age are the main problems. I doubt this relationship will work out the way you want it to.
