Salus :
"It's been a long long time since I last went through this cruel ritual"

That is funny.

Ive been listening to Leykis, hes funny but I disagree with half of his advice. And anyway he encourages 3 dates and if no sex then no more dates. The same Games/Expectations I was talking about.

Yes! After splitting up from my ex-wife, I tried like people say to jump back on the horse and date. It's been a long long time since I last went through this cruel ritual and I know that a lot has changed since.

But, I don't remember it being as much of a pain in the a**. And, its not just the date itself, but everything that leads up to it and after it, just way too much bs, drama and hassle... too much stress.

So I learned a lesson from this and realized that I should not be in any hurry to date again or pursue another relationship. I just enjoy either being with myself or hangin with my kiddle.

If people had no expectations when they went on a date, there'd be less stress and disappointments...but yeah, dating can be tiresome because you go through the same (or similar) basics with each new person you go out with, getting to know them and them getting to know you...

Folks need to learn to relax...be themselves...

I am so glad that i am married and don't have to deal with the crap dating brings anymore. You are so right, i am staying married forever, i paid my dues. Vince Vaughn said it best in "Wedding Crashers" if you don't know what i am talking about rent the movie.

Actually, I think it's fun... but it is kind of sickening what happens when you decide to throw the games out the window. You have to be a player or you are going to get trampled on.
