or the modern problems like famine, disease and pestolence that is so widespread? How can a truly caring deity allow such things to happen to His favorite children?

I am not blaming God. You missed the whole point. I am saying if God is truly how you say He is, then how would these things even be allowed to happen?

I love this blaming God thing. What if I am blaming Him? Doesn't He control the universe, work in mysterious ways, and blah blah blah. Your God sure is conveniently away when bad stuff goes down.

The Jewish people are God's chosen people. Israel has every right to defend and protect itself from from the Palestinians and anyone else.
God did not just sit back and 'fold His arms' and just watch. There is a constant battle on this earth between good and evil. We all have a choice. If we go into captivity like the Jewish people did then we have a choice of believing in God and spending eternity with Him or turning our backs on Him.
To ask another question, what was the outcome of the Holocaust? Did Hitler win? There lies the answer.

He allows it BECAUSE He is a caring God and is proving a point to Mankind. Satan would be finished except for ONE POINT. He didn't challenge God, he challenged God's RIGHT TO RULE. With all of the Heavenly Angels watching God had to prove the point that Satan was wrong and the only way to do this was let Satan and Man live their lives and Future History (miserable though it would be) and prove the point ONCE AND FOR ALL TIMES. If God had simply destroyed Satan, the Angels would have been shocked (which 1/3 had already rebelled) it would have caused even more rebellion, but by allowing this horror to go on, God is proving his point to Mankind, the Angels and everyone watching that ONLY HIS WAY IS RIGHT.

We've had every form of government we can think of, from matriarchy, patriarchy, theocracy, democracy, communism, facsim, nazism, oligarchy, republics, kingships, empires, principalities, etc. and all of it was by men. None of it has worked or lasted long. However, soon, God will return and set up HIS Kingdom through Jesus Christ and reign over the earth. This will be the final rule for man and will last for eternity.

Everyone who has died unjustly will be resurrected to an earthly Paradise (think thief on the cross) so that they can learn about Jesus, accept him and have the same chance as Adam & Eve to Grow to Perfection. So blaming God for the innocents who died in accidents, bombings, etc., is moot, yes, they were in pain, but they will still get to live their full lives in the future.

Why do you blame God for each of the evil in the international? each and every human being has an ethical experience which acts as his decide, and he has the flexibility to understand what's sweet from incorrect. So even as someone like Hitler ignores this and springs to a decision to do issues that oppose his decide, then the Bible says, what he comes to a decision will be as a warm searing rod that burns his ideas so as that he can not imagine awesome anymore. the element he chosen will now be his moral experience. on the topic of Hitler, devil became his moral experience. each and every human being will stand beforehand God in the destiny and delivers an account of their lives, and if their names at the instant are not got here upon in the e book of existence, then they are going to be solid into the eternal fires of hell. the selected human beings of God are those who've had their hearts circumcised by using believing in His gospel of the water and the Spirit (John 3:3-5). Its a non secular element not a actual element of the Jews. The non secular Jews are the quite born lower back. certain, God will provide Israel yet another danger, that is even as the door to the Gentiles has closed, it quite is about now.

God wants us to give a crap, but we don't. Now go eat a hamburger without finding out how it got to your plate, drive your car to Walmart and buy stuff that will go into the trash made by Chinese being paid $3 for working 16 hours. For goodness sakes, spend time watching TV and forming opinions about other people while ignoring children, disabled and shut ins that could use your company.
Famine is political
The biggest disease in America is eating like a pig.
God cares, but he needs us to do the legwork. Now get out there and do good deeds.

Think about how much more we'd be overpopulated if no wars, sickness or politians in office. I know it sucks that it happened, but look how much good has come out of it.

This famine disease and pestolence is all just because we've changed the earth. True, this has been going on a long time, but there is a unique balence to our earth. Think about what will happen when we've turned our table upside down. WE are on the verge of it now.

Hello Munkee,
You ask an ancient question. I will try to answer it intelligently. When you get to know God very well at all, you find out that He created us with free will. We are free to choose any course we like. Obviously, we are pretty bad at it. Because we are so hard headed, and unwilling to listen to Wisdom, we are left with the only Teacher who can get through to us. That Teacher's name is PAIN. You can ignore God, and you can ignore Wisdom, but it is fairly hard to ignore PAIN. Perhaps in the end, PAIN will succeed in teaching us that the choices we make can hurt ourselves and others. If we become friends with Wisdom, then PAIN is no longer needed, and will go away. Many individuals already know this, but as a race, PAIN is not in danger of unemployment any time soon.
Sometimes, we have to stand back, and let our children hurt themselves, because they simply will not listen to us. It may seem cruel on the surface, but it is indeed an act of Love. As to the death that occurs in the world because of this philosophy, if you believe in God, then you must believe that all Life belongs to Him. He can bring back what He has created whenever He wants to. If you don't believe in God, then I guess you will just have to go insane trying to figure out why we should have any hope at all.......

Why are you blaming God? All things happen for a reason. And not only in the Christian faith bad things occur. In other religions, I don't know of any spiritual deity that has prevented bad things from happening, hence, GOD in the Christian faith does deliver and heal ...

I don't think He allowed it, we have the choice to choose our paths. If some people decided to act in evil againts others, that's their choice. BTW, to Rubi, you can't say that Jews are causing a holocaust to Palestinians, since not all Jews in the world are doing it. Many Jews have never been to Israel, and many Jews are actually againts Israel's bad actions and don't even recognize Israel as a state. It's like if I say that all Palestinians are suicide bombing Israelis, this of course would be very unfair on my behalf. (please don't take my response as an insult) BTW, I do not agree with Israel's actions all the time

don't blame God, blame the evil one or the people who turn their back on God and then want Him to heal them.

The Holocaust was horrific and all the negative adjectives that exist couldn't describe it. Thank God the Jewish people are again a nation.

To teach people lessons. If you don't think God is doing the right thing, go ask Him yourself. Who are you to judge God? And his favorite children? Get a life and an education.
