let me quantify this. cybersex perse is not a crime, because it is virtual. however, once the offender and the victim(s) decided to meet personally and have sex, it will become a crime if on the part of the offender he has done it with violence, fear or intimidation against other person,including if the former is minor. i guess, laws have been amended to answer to this need, i have watched a true story film about this. the effect is very alarming so we must be vigilant about this.

It's not a crime because there's no actual sex involved. It's just a pair of horny people typing dirty stuff to get the other person off. Nope, local authorities don't do anything because although it is gross, there's rarely any harm done.

Is it a crime? It's words on a screen. How can that be a crime? It's an incredibly boring and lame thing to do but it certainly isn't a crime.

Cybersex if not a crime, as long you are doing it with an 18 year old and over. But it is a sin in God's eye, because it is the same adultery, cause the Lord say sin not either with your mind.
