my boyfriend of 2 years just recently asked me to give him time. he moved out while i was at work and said that he left that way because he was afraid of hurting me. he said that he needs time.... to give him some time. im very confused.. what could be the reason?

Sounds like your man is confused too. Whatever he's going through, he needs to do it without you--so give him that consideration, and give him his time and his space.
I know it's easier said than done, but trust me, in the long run whether he is with you or not-this is truly a blessing in disguise. You wouldn't want to commit yourself to someone who isn't certain and secure about their feelings for you and the relationship.
Please hang in there...we've all been there, sweetie. Keep yourself busy, communicate and vent as much as you can to whomever and whenever you feel like. You got to love yourself and be strong.
Everything will work out and fall into place in the end, you'll see.

He could be selfish...or he could really want to be serious with you and just afraid of how he is feeling. Give him some time but not a lot of it maybe like 2 weeks and then try and talk to him. My boyfriend needed "some time" and when we got back together he asked me to marry him!

Change the locks on the door and lite a candle, with a good bottle of wine. Start celebrating your freedom. Trust me, if he needs space, in his heart he had already decided. Life is too short for you to be waiting for someone to make up their mind on the subject matter of do they respect, love, or even care for you. Moving out without notice was wrong on so many levels. Don't know all the circumstances going on, but trust; that was ugly. Go out this weekend and move on with your life.

He could be seeing someone else, he might just want out of the relationship or maybe he wants some time to figure some stuff out. Whatever the reason is it's something that he knows and you won't know until he tells you.

He actually wants to dump you. What he did was very sneaky and underhanded. Obviously he been thinking about ending the relationship for a while but did not have the guts to tell you (coward). Don't waist anymore of your time with this guy. Tell him it's been great but you have to move on with your life and you can't sit around and wait for him.

Well, if you were asking him about marrige and then he moved out. But if you weren't asking him about marrige and he moved out it's another story. Sorry to say this, but he is bored with you. Or he's seeing someone else. He is only using " i need more time" so he can be with someone else without you knowing.

the reason is because he knows that you can do better...sweety find a real man someone that treats you right i know you love him but if he does you like that he doesnt desserve a beautiful loving girl like you. dont listen to these "people" that say follow him because your the one that hurts when you see him with someone else not him...smile love your beautiful
