Think about what sin actually caused. We would all be a bunch of naked farmers with no technology. Clothing wouldnt exists, the internet wouldnt have been invented, movies would be about grass growing if they were even here. Millions of jobs would not be there! No police, no army, no fireworks, and no holidays. Thinkg about it, other then your birthday everyholiday wouldnt exists. Without sin there would have been plenty of oil for the temple, no need for the cross, hallowen would be candyless, no indenpendance day.

God Made man in his own image - The all knowing the alpha and omega. He never said that he didn't know that the fruit of good and evil would not be eaten, he just demanded them not to.

Naked people mean no Laundry less work. Technology although is good it also adds tons of stress to our lives not good. You don't miss what you never had and people would actually have to look each other in the face to talk. A good way of knowing if your being lied to.also good. We wouldn't need police and armies because there would be no crime and no wars not good GREAT.Candy rots your teeth and holidays make you gain weight or for some get drunk and make awful mistakes. Every day would be Independence Day. You need a better argument. I'm surprised that a christian would prefer a sinful evil world where children are murdered and almost everyone is a liar etc. Compared to paradise on earth and total bliss.

Hi Missy,
We have forgotten what the eating of the apple really was. The act of eating the apple was not the sin. The decision to disregard God's will was the actual crime, for which we have seemingly suffered ever since. I like to think that if the apple had not been eaten, or if we all collectively decided to seek God and do what He wants, we would fall into a state of trust with Him. Who knows what we would be trusted with? All the things you say we have because of our mistake, might pale into nothingness compared with what the Creator of Life might give to us. We might never know, because we continue to reject Him.
Perhaps our existence would become one continous Holiday, complete with fun and friendship. I know that if I had to give up these earthly things to end the pain I see around us in the world, I would gladly do so.

Where was the question? The Bible doesn't say that the forbidden fruit was an apple; however, that aside, paradise is not something you and I are able to conceive. We look at the options based on the perimeters established by our own limited experience-based bias. Sin is what limits us not what liberates us. It was God's design that nothing good should be with held from His people. The human race chose to step outside of God's design and the result has been bondage to death, sickness, shame, and disgrace. The Bible refers to the Ten Commandments as the "Law of Liberty". Thou shalt not kill means that you won't be murdered. Thou shalt not steal means that you won't have to lock your doors. Thou shalt not commit adultery means that your spouse will be faithful to you. Lucifer promised a better way but all he has provided is disaster!!!

I thought the point to it was that the apple was from the Tree of Knowledge...by eating it people became self-aware. Before that, they were just dumb and happy.
You decide, either totally ignorant of anything other than happiness and live forever, or have the opportunity (or blind chance) to be born into poverty, suffering, disease, etc.
As it's never been a choice, just the way things are, then I suggest you make the best of it.

The forbidden fruit was probably not an apple. The idea of the fruit as an apple comes from Milton's Paradise Lost. Life would have been perfect bliss childbirth would have been painless, there would be no death, no hunger, and no unhappiness.

The fall was necessary, however, for us to gain free will and chose God for ourselves.

We wouldn't know anything about sin, having to work, any type of labor or suffering, duh... We would just be happy. We wouldn't need technology because we'd be satisfied and never bored. Who said there wouldn't be movies or the Internet, anyway? We wouldn't need clothes because we wouldn't know we were naked (personally, I wish I could walk around naked, seriously)... We wouldn't need police because everyone would be happy. And just because we wouldn't know sin doesnt' mean we would be dumb. I'm sure we could still invent stuff... Sorry, but think before you ask questions...

If you want to look at it that way then go ahead (its a little ignorant, but whatever), sure maybe the world would suck but so does hell which is where sins get you.
