We know countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan are the main countries where Al Queda operate freely, so why are we not more actively at war there? Seek out and destroy them there, because its obvious the governments there are unwilling to do the job.

Because then you fuel Al Queda. The citizens of that country will grow disgusted of the US attacking and will sympathize with Al Queda. Dipolmacy has to be used to gain permission to use target attacks against the terrorist camps. It seems kinda backward, but I look at it like this. "You don't fight a fire with gasoline."

bush already tried that and he still there but al queda is now in another country
to go to attack where al queda goes means pulling out forces from where they all ready are and giving up the valuble resources provided by holding trhat country under usa power

Obviously, you don't realize this, but there ARE foreign troops in Afghanistan, trying to find, and destroy al queda terrorists.Canadian troops are fired upon every day, and at least one a day gets hurt.

We do. We destroyed the Taliban, and still go after them. We installed a new pro US government there.

Pakistan is assisting us with battling Al Queda.

al-qaeda is an internationally organized terrorist group who is affiliated with nearly 250 terrorist groups worldwide. after US's Afghanistan operation it has changed its structure, planned by Zarqawi. now it has cells directly bound or not bound groups: it is a system called 'sleeping cells' worldwide. so there is no territory to destroy the new enemy. because it is an asymmetrical power.

Simply because innocent people killed in two countries cannot be justified for fear of a group. If you have courage to find them and capture go ahead, but killing people randomly will make you a terrorist and them dead.
