We know countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan are the main countries where Al Queda operate freely, so why are we not more actively at war there? Seek out and destroy them there, because its obvious the governments there are unwilling to do the job.

Because then you fuel Al Queda. The citizens of that country will grow disgusted of the US attacking and will sympathize with Al Queda. Dipolmacy has to be used to gain permission to use target attacks against the terrorist camps. It seems kinda backward, but I look at it like this. "You don't fight a fire with gasoline."

We do. We destroyed the Taliban, and still go after them. We installed a new pro US government there.
Pakistan is assisting us with battling Al Queda.

al-qaeda is an internationally organized terrorist group who is affiliated with nearly 250 terrorist groups worldwide. after US's Afghanistan operation it has changed its structure, planned by Zarqawi. now it has cells directly bound or not bound groups: it is a system called 'sleeping cells' worldwide. so there is no territory to destroy the new enemy. because it is an asymmetrical power.

i imagine that if McCain turns into President he has plans to make certain terrorism does not spread, yet right this moment that is merely excellent for all applicants to go away that question on my own because the media will make a mockery of it. undergo in ideas the media makes money on condition that they stir the pot.

Simply because innocent people killed in two countries cannot be justified for fear of a group. If you have courage to find them and capture go ahead, but killing people randomly will make you a terrorist and them dead.

It's all political.
If it wasn't for politics, and we just let the Generals run the war, we would probably have won by now.
