do people frown upon white and black couples dating?

I am what the world would concrede to be African-American and I have been dating off and on a white man and he has mentioned time and time again where he is from they would frown upon his chose. I have never but of course you think the times have changed but have they. I am just looking for other points of views.

I am really surprised at the way people are in the world today! Why can't the world just realize that we are all just people, no matter what color, race, religion, etc. We were made to love and be loved! We are all mixed anyhow there is no one race anymore....Why is is OK for some races to mix and not for others, what is it with the whole black and white thing anyway? I do not understand closed minded people in this day! I am white and my husband is Asian and we have 4 Amerasian kids, I never have cared what people say or have said or will say as long as I am happy. My children have other feelings, They are tired of people asking them "what are you?" or " where are you from?" what kinds of questions are these? First of all NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, is what I tell them to answer. Tell them I am a person, where am I from? How ridiculous, I am American obviously I am from America. The main point is Yes people frown about black and white couples dating as well as other mixed races, but so What....there is so much ignorance in the world you just have to ignore it and do what makes you happy and pray for the rest!

yes things are slowly changing but trust me that you will die before interracial relationships are not frowned upon by some people. In westers civilisations, blacks, afro-american or whatever we call eachother, we used to be treated as inferiors and this mentality of superiority can still be seen in effect in many whites even to this day. Will this ever change, frankly i dont think it ever will. If Asians, Blacks, Indians or whatever were in the same position that whites are nowadays, a same way of classifying people would happen. Sadly, I just think thats just how humans are, we like to categorize things. Sure some of us are more open minded and agree more with new concepts such as interracial couples. The only thing there is to do is to keep on doing what youre doing.

In short, for lazy people who are too lazy to read this paragraph, yes people still frown upon such things and it won't change anytime soon. Haters mary Hater Bitc**es and make some hater kids. (kanye West)

There are still some in this world. I think in about 20 more years there wont be as manny around as there are now. I know several "Old guys" that would really disrespect a woman or man if they were interracial couple. Once these type of old guys are dead and gone it shouldn't be so bad.

Some people care and others do not. I live in Alabama and I'd say it's probably 50/50 here. I see interracial couples all the time and think nothing of it.

You will find people disagree if your dating the same ethnic background or different. They just have too much time on their hands. As long as your good for each other and respectful to yourselves .It is no ones bussiness.
