one foot in front of the other.
slowly.
busy your mind with other things: go for walks, read books, write a journal with a specific focus (i.e: every day write about 3 positive things you saw or heard), clean, everytime you think about it do ten situps and ten pushups. The point is...
keep putting one foot in front of the other....
if you keep moving, eventually you'll walk yourself right out of it and into something beautiful!

First, it would be easier for us to know what that reason for your heartache is. All in all, you might have heard this a million times but time is the only thing that can make it go away. I've been through it and came to realize that time is what you need. Otherwise, just try to keep yourself as busy as you can with other things and try not thinking about the heartache.
Hope this helps

first you have to do whats right....then remember only something or someone we once cared for or do care for can cause heartache...then you learn to forgive not forget. Its a long journey I can't lie...but eventually you will find some peace and better ways to manage. I took me years but now I am ok. You will be too, everyones time of healing is different. Good wishes to you!

Okay - NOT alcohol, that's not coping! You don't say what kind of heartache, and it's hard to offer any help without knowing what the problem is .. Good thoughts and good luck - we've all been there, my dear.

I would spend more time with your children, and enjoy the happy moments. Time heals all wounds. I would embrace each day, and spend time with family and friends to help you get your mind off of what is aching your heart. I hope this advice finds you well.

meet as any new people as possible, get new hobbies, stop thinking of the other, get rid of the things that are a reminder, don't go to the same places.. just get very busy.. sport, school, work, read, force myself not to think..
ps. sometomes it help to call an ex boyfriend who I broke up with who is very happy to hear my voice.. my libido then is healed and better to cope.
Good luck
