yogurt, apple sauce, pudding, soft foods, anything mashed, nothing crunchy or chewy. No liquids through a straw. No popsicles. Don't suck on anything.

I did some soups but mostly soft items and drink planty of liquid. I did some icecream and did milkshakes.
I had all four of my wisdom teeth cut out

I was told not to suck anything and not to eat anything that could get stuck in in your gums like peanuts or apples. Other than those things I didn't restrict my diet and I had no problems. If I were you I would take your dentist's advise over the people here though.

Soup, mash potatoes, Ramen noodles (cook a little longer than usual), apple sauce, smoothies, ice cream , yogurt, jello

Mashed potatoes, but make sure they aren't hot. Popsicles, jello, pretty much anything cool, and mushy.
