Condoms are more effective as disease control than birth control. If you are sexually active you should explore options of birth control, don't rely on a condom's effectiveness.
Also, I know how hard it can be to resist when you are both in the mood and there is not a condom around, so you should look at methods for if/when that situation arises.

If you are in a trusting monogamous relationship and are ready to take it to the next level, it is definitely something to discuss with your boyfriend. If he is in agreement, make an appt. with your gyn for the both of you, and do some research on line before going to find out all the options available to you. There are TONS now, not just one or two, you may find a new one that you like way better than the good old fashioned pill.
Plus, you can always use condoms while on BC, it's just an extra layer of protection (no pun intended).

You should use both. Why?
1. You and bf are having sex and the condom breaks; birth control pill would be a secondary prevention.
2. You and bf are having sex but you have been on antibiotics =birth control pills no longer effective. Condom is needed.

First of all are you really old enough and responsible enough to be having sex? If you are than be thankful he's a responsible individual. If the condoms make you feel less close or uncomfortable and neither of you have STD's than go with your boyfriend to the Gyno or your GP and get some Birth Conrtol Pills. Yeah, I said have him go with you...he'll be more trusting that you're true to your word--and the first few times you take them do it so he sees that you're truely on them.

I would go on the pill and still use condoms. You do not want to have a baby now. Condoms are NOT 100% proof. Better to be safe then sorry.

Condoms are good but if your in a commited relationship then I think you should opt for the pill...just to be on the safe side. Condoms do bust and you dont want to have any surprises down the road...

yes I would say get on birth control cause sometimes the condom breaks and you never know what could happen, but remember bc is not always 100% accurate either. Good Luck!

I would go get birth control pills and use both of them because the condom and brake and you might get pregnant. So if you donot want any kids I would use them both.
