Now that I have your attention - why is it that people seem to think they can put a topic with a question mark and expect us to know what the question is? Are we supposed to be psychic or is it a literacy issue?

Too many people in today's society lack the knowledge needed to express their ideas fully. A large vocabulary is more important that people seem to think. The ability to choose exactly the right word is priceless.

So, to answer your question...literacy issue.

Apathy. It seems that many simply do not care if they are being understood. My four year old (apparently) has a better comprehension of the English language than some users of this site.

I think if the question piques interest in people, they are more likely to look at it and answer it. Then, you can open the question and read the rest of what they have written.

if i wasnt interested at all to see what you meant by "mind reader" i never would have clicked in here ^_^
