I like ya. You seem to have a mind and can even spell.
That means more to me than looks.
You be yourself and who cares what people think.

I'm with you, bro. I'm built the same way. I'm 5'6" @ 194 pounds. But I can still move. I'm no marathon runner despite being an average runner. I do my road miles. I don't know what my 40 times are but I've been athletic most of my life. I've even done some natural body building (no roids). I'm just genetically dispositioned this way.
Let's look at the bright side of this. I've always been complemented on my broad shoulders and big arms and chest. From what I've read here, a majority of chicks dig that physically about a guy along with a great smile. And that to the mix. And guess what thick guys have? Yup. Broad shoulders, big arms, and a big chest.
Be proud of who you are.

I know this is completely untrue. A friend of mine is an 'extreme' dancer. She exercises six days a week for four-five hours...thats pretty intense. She is extrememly strong and fit. However, she weighs more than the most of our friends. Part of this is because she is very muscular, but she is also a larger girl.
I on the other hand, am a 'thin' person. But I probably exercise 4 hours a week. I am not athletic in any way. I dislike exercise, and I perfer reading or passing time on the computer. The odd thing is that I used to be a larger girl, but I have lost weight recently, despite no change in my eating or exercising habits.
From your own experience, you have disproved the assumtion that heavier people are unathletic. So have my friend and myself. So obviously you know the answer. You don't need to be thin to be athletic.

You really shouldn't care what people think. It seems like appearance is so important when it really isn't :) i never judge a big guy on looks because about 80% of the time they do play football or something :) Now if i saw you at McDonalds ordering the whole menu then it would be a different story lol :)

I'm sure most folks do think that way - out of sheer ignorance & prejudice. I'm overweight - I won't even say "thick" - I will freely admit to it - but I ride bikes with my kids, rollerskate, dance, hike, swim, play kickball, etc. You have to reach the point where you are comfortable in your own skin & if what everyone else thinks bothers you then you aren't there yet. Do what you do for yourself, not because of someone else's pre-conceived notion of beauty. You have a mind, you seem to be intelligent, I'd say they were just envious of you. Keep on keepin' on!!

i don't think so. But i likr you. As a person. You shouldn't care about what people think. Just keep your head on. it'll be okay. I;m the same way but i find people liking that i'm thick. But i don't care what a person thinks only thing that matters is what's on the inside. And if that's all she cares about don;t be with her. All she cares about is your bod and when you get old there's nothing to really look at so why care. But just keep your head up

nobody is hating on you, you're mixing up terminology. sumo wrestlers are also athletes as are linemen, but for example, when girls say they like athletic guys they're talking about someone built like a soccer player or a wide reciever. jerome bettis is a hell of an athlete and i don't think that anyone would dispute that, right? however, he does not have an athletic build...he is clearly overweight.

Yeah alot of people presume that if you're thick that you're too slow in everything that you do. Those are the people you let them eat their words.

No, I assume nothing. Looking at someone and saying that person's fat, so they must be lazy, is retarded. People should get over themselves.
