...First of all, most dogs shed. Second, dogs, mostly long and thicked haired breeds, shed more in the summer. Third, it may because of a bad diet. If your dog is lacking protein, it will shed more than usual. And just like humans, if your dog is stressed (just moved to a new home, new dog in the house, new person) it will shed more.

I have the same problem with my dog and all dogs should shed somewhat but if he is shedding uncontrollably then it may be that he isn't getting enough vitamins in hes diet or he may need special vitamins go to the vet and have a full check up done and ask if there is something the vet can recommend

Dogs shed, especially because it is summer. I have a pug that sheds worse than a cat...worse than 4 cats together!!!! Try getting the "Furminator" brush (check it out on the net) if he sheds lots. It helps. Otherwise, a good brushing with a regular pet brush once a day/or a few times a week will help. If this is really abnormal for your dog, it could be his diet. Take him to the vet if you are still in doubt.

Depending on the breed all dogs shed hair at some point, just how much they shed depends on the breed for one. I have also noticed it can be due to poor diet. What do you feed your dog? and what kind of dog is it?

They all shed some. Daily grooming helps control it. If you feel the dog is shedding excessively see a vet. Another thing, poor quality food makes them shed more, among other things. Does the food your feeding contain corn/corn products? by products? corn can trigger skin problems and by products can contain cancerous tissue. California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova and Merrick are some of the best foods out there.

Depends on what type of breed it is. if it is a short haired dog it should not shed alot. If it has long like a German Shephard it will shed it's coat lot more.

All dogs shed. They lose their hair as new hair grows in. To lessen the shedding a bit, brush your dog every day. if your dog has longer hair, get a special groomers brush to make sure youre brushing the top coat as well as the undercoat. trust me, youll see less hair every where and the dog will feel great.

well it depends on how much shedding? to help the shedding you can make sure to feed your dog a proper diet and that your dog is getting all the vit. and min's the he or she needs. and keeping your dog brushed will help. to much shedding is not healthy and you should talk to your vet for advice.
